I have always hated being cold. I’m an AZ girl through and through so when winter comes, I break out the heated jacket. Never in a million years would I or anyone who knows me thought I would become a Plunge-aholic.

Years after my career as a D1 athlete I still battle the aches and pain of injuries from then. As mom of 3 and full-time physician I feel it’s important to find a few moments each day (or night after the kids are in bed) to recharge and mediate.

My Routine

I wake up at 5:30-6am in New York. I start reading in bed and doing a brain games like crosswords for about 30-45 minutes before getting out of bed. I like to get my brain moving right away. I then make my bed and get right in the plunge for 4 minutes.

During the last minute, I submerge as much as possible, including hands and face. My temp is 42F. I then dry off and take my dog for a walk and feed him. I then take vitamins with two glasses of warm water and electrolytes. I also drink a short coffee with ghee. I do not each my first meal until after 12pm. After that, I begin to floss my knees before doing 1:30-2 hours of working out in my home gym.I drink 1.5 liters of water during this period. After the workout, I get into a 200F dry sauna for 15 minutes. I stretch in the sauna. I get out and rest for 1-2 minutes before getting back in for an additional 5-10 minutes before showering and starting the bulk of my workday. I drink an additional 1.5 liters of water before 10am. Sometimes before bed at night, I do 15 minutes of sauna, but it’s not everyday. More like once a week.

And that’s my routine. Been doing that for about 2 years now

Best Tub on the Market

This is a first class plunge tub. It is very well designed with easy maintenance and an awesome app. The top is well designed and it is easy to use.

I chose this tub over the plunger barrels because as I age I thought it would be easier to enter and exit the tub versus a barrel.

The plunge basin makes it even easier!

The cleanest looking, most comfortable cold plunge on market

Hello all.

I tested another unit that was cheaper in price due to it being an outdoor inflatable unit, but I found that its overall functionality and comfort were lacking.

During the fall sale, I ended up purchasing the All-In after much debate among their offerings. I'm really glad I went for this unit, as it has become a long-term solution for me.

One bonus, apart from its ease of use, is how good it looks. It has definitely added a lot of curb appeal to my backyard, and getting in and out is super easy. Once you’re in the plunge, the way it leans back allows you to relax, so you can stay in longer without feeling tense.

The All-in water treatment system that is housed in the shroud also has kept the water way cleaner then my other unit. And finally the jets and the light are perfect.

My first ice bath was a cheap collapsible one from Amazon, which for me was necessary to see if I could be consistent before a real investment like this, but man this was the best investment I’ve made in a long time (and I’ve bought nvidea).

Amazing Product

I've been doing cold plunges @ spas for over a decade (AN LOVE IT), and decided I wanted to have a unit at my home. Initially I bought a low cost inflatable unit and a freezer outside the house and would use blocks of ice to cool water to ensure I was committed. This experiment confirmed that I definitively wanted to have a cold splash but was very inconvenient, uncomfortable and was unclear if I could regulate the temperature in unless I change the water was unhygienic.

I was recommended to the plunge by Anne Tierney (Cofounder of www.ki-hara.com), and I have to tell you the ALL In HOT COLD TUB unit has by far & away exceeded my expectations in EVERY regard. Why? 1) Ability to control the temperature to the to within one degree 2) the ability to change temperature remotely 3) A really beautiful aesthetic look & matching mat 4) a custom design cover to save on electricity 5) AND .. truly world class customer service team that is super responsive.

Very impressed.

Just set the unit up and it’s 100 deegrees outside and the unit chilled the water to 39 degrees in about 2 hours. Much better than other ice baths i’ve tested. It’s fucking cold!!!

Love it!!!

I have a few friends that have the earlier model of the Hotcoldtub and say the noise from the motor is something to keep in mind if you have it next to a bedroom.

I was lucky to order mine right when the All-in one was introduced. Yes it is more expensive but now I’m glad I went that route.

The All-In one is quite and looks fantastic with out all the equipment exposed.

Also if you can brave it the temp goes down to 37 degrees on the All-In one.

Craned It Up To the Penthouse Rooftop

Cold plunge was so important to my husband that when we moved and his cold plunge was no longer a part of his life, within a year, he developed debilitating sciatica and then ruptured a knee tendon.

I just couldn't figure out what had happened to his health until I realized he was no longer plunging. The Hotcoldtub Group moved heaven to get us a All-In so he could use it in PT and recovery. We had to lift it up to the rooftop, in the snow, in Boston, but the change in his health was almost immediate.

The unit itself is fantastic, whisper quiet, literally just plugs into the outlet (needs 15 Amps). We already wired the roof for a Sauna and a second plunge that we may keep as a hot tub for my daughter who is also recovering from surgery.

Plunge now a part of my life!

The unit was a simple setup as I already had a slab and pebble bed ready for an easy delivery.

Unit is significantly quieter thank the older two part system.

This all in one has a clean sleek design.

I have had for 3 wks now and wont go a day without going in.

I am hitting the pause button then stepping in at 47 deg, and am laying for the 15 min delay practicing deep and slow breathing, and focusing on slowing down my mind, and before you know it, the jets turn back on and I jump out and go directly into my hot tub close by ,that I had already turned on before the plunge so it is 104 deg , creating another contrasting shock.

I recommend first week putting temperature at 55, then a few days later to 50 and work your way

Down. I think 47 is a good temperature that does shock the body enough.

New morning routine

It’s awesome. I have had the all-in for about a month and have used it at least once every day. The only tough thing was getting it moved into the basement.

I had to take the door, hinges, and interior trim of the door to the basement and the movers had to carry the tub on its side to fit through the doorway.

The movers were pros and they knew right away it wouldn’t fit with the trim in place. My wife and stepson are digging the plunge too.

The Hotcoldtub was the way to go for the most compact footprint.

Love it! We use it every day. Prior to investing in the plunge we had a different brand with a “pod” not a tub.

The chiller would only cool it down to 50 degrees here in Vegas in the summer.

I'm "ALL-IN"!!!

I was one of those winter "Plungers" Who loved battling muscle fatigue and soreness every morning buy getting in my hot tub every morning during the winter months.. until about March where it would start to get into the mid 50's in the water... too warm to plunge! So I finally pulled the trigger on the All-In and am I glad.

I'm in there every day...it's always the perfect temp, clean, and a beautiful addition to my deck! 5 Stars indeed!

My First Cold Plunge!

I did my first cold plunge in our spas new Hot Cold Tub All-In. Can't say the first one was great, but now I've gone 6 days in a row and believe it or not, I look forward to it every morning! I struggled with 50 degrees for 2 mins and now I'm at 45 degrees for 4 mins. Plan to hit the 30's in a week. lol

The Hot cold tub product is great, and our clients can't say enough good things about them. It's easy to setup and operate. Love the iPhone app.

Worth The Money!
